Another of my clients is New Holland Precision Land Management. My contract is to manage the support for the software used by customers. I cover anything software related issues from software installation, to map creation and integration with supporting hardware such as fertiliser spreaders and seed drills.
One method of training I use is the online videos. These videos are a step by step guide on how to use the software in short bit sized chunks. Here’s an example clip:
This is the New Holland demo truck i spent two days talking precision farming with New Holland dealers. The HGCA presentations went really well and there seems to be great enthusiasm for developing the PF offering through New Holland dealers, but will they be interested in developing the concept – only time will tell.
